Hello and welcome to this KLM Business Class Flight Review

from Amsterdam to Stockholm on Boeing B737-800.

It was a chilly Saturday morning on October 29th and i was ready to fly from Amsterdam Schiphol to Stockholm Arlanda with KLM B737-800 on Business class. My flight KL1109 to Stockholm Arlanda would depart from gate B27. With no time to visit the KLM Business class lounge i decided to skip it and head direct to my gate.

As I make my way to my assigned gate B27 i spot Singapore airline crew i guess they just arrived from a long flight from Singapore!?

Here we have some heavies a KLM B787-9 and few Jet Airways A330's, i think it was two years ago when Jet airways moved their hub from Brussels to Amsterdam.

Soon i arrived at my gate.

As the boarding was about to start i have a quick look at todays aircraft which is a Boeing B737-800 with registration PH-BXF delivered to KLM on 15/06/2000 which makes it around 18 years old by 2018.

You can se that the catering is being loaded. Catering for the return flight is loaded in Amsterdam as well.

Soon i board the aircraft, Business class passengers followed by Skyteam Silver members upwards are boarded first followed by the rest (Sorry for the blurry picture)

Im the 5th person to be onboard this B738-800

Here is my seat 2A, with the typical european configuration with one seat in the middle being blocked.

We were in total 3 passengers in Business class, the legroom was good.

Shortly after we pushed back and make our way to Runway 36C, here you can se this Embraer making it's way to Runway 18R also known as the Polderbaan where the taxi time from the gate to thePolderbaan usully take 20 minutes.

Delta Airbus A330-300 taxing to Runway 18R flying all the way to Seattle.

The engines comes to full power and we take off from Runway 18C, Runway 18C is 3,300 Meters or 10,827 feet long which is more than enough for this Boeing 737-800 : I think this is my 6th time taking off from Runway 18C (Yes i know i fly quite alot with KLM)

Our shadow and Boeing 747 in the distance

We have a parallel take off with this KLM Boeing 747-400

And above the clouds

Shortly after lunch service started there was only one choice which consisted of this meat wrap.

This meat wrap was good thanks to the dressings combined with other unknown stuff init. My choice of drink was orange juice and a Coffe.

Soon we start our descent into Stockholm Arlanda

You know you are in Stockholm, Sweden when you start to seeing greenery and this small islands fun fact did you know that on the east part of Stockholm begins the vast area of over 30,000 islands known as the Stockholm archipelago, one of the world's most richest island coherent archipelagos.

Beautiful clear weather

Soon we smoothly land on Runway 01R which is 2,500 meters or 8,202 feet long enough for this Aircraft to come to a complete stop.

We land 12:15 pm 5 minutes ahead of our schedule time, On our way to Terminal 2 where our gate is you can see this Ethiopian Boeing 787-8 resting in the cargo area.

This Fokkers are getting more rear
