Just Last month Asiana A330 had a ground collision with Turkish airlines on the ground and the same thing happened today when another Asiana Airlines Airbus A330-300 collided with Korean Air Boeing 777-200ER on the ground in Gimpo International airport. Both aircrafts have sustained damage to its empennage after the minor collison. Tail of the Korean B777,-200er registered HL7764 (MSN 34214), struck the wing of the Asiana A330 (HL8286; MSN:4264) shortly after 9am local time on 26 June.

Asiana says that its A330 was "being towed along the designated path according to the guidance from the air traffic control tower" at the time of the collision. Korean Air says that its aircraft was "fully stopped when the contact between the two aircraft was made".

Pictures from the scene show damage to the rear of the left horizontal stabiliser and tailcone of the 777, but it was not clear what damage – if any – the A330 received.

There were no passengers on board either jet, and no injuries were reported. An investigation into the accident is underway. This is a similar incident to the Asiana A330-300 collision with TUrkish airlines A321 in Istanbul airport and the aircraft have been grounded ever since in Istanbul due to the damage.
