Aegan airlines orders 30 Airbus A320neo

The greek airline Aegean Airlines has ordered 30 Airbus A320neos (New engine options).

The purchase agreement – covering 10 A321neos and 20 A320neos – was signed during a ceremony in Athens today by Aegean chairman Eftichios Vassilakis and by the Greek airline's chief executive Dimitris Gerogiannis and his Airbus counterpart Tom Enders. The orders are worth $5 billion. Currently Aegan airline operated only an Airbus fleet with 49 A320ceo family aircrafts including A321's and A319's.
