SAS ORDERS 50 MORE A320NEOs

SAS is one of the now many airlines operating the Airbus A320 Neo (New engine option). SAS originally ordered 30 A320NEOS and with 17 A320NEOS delivered to SAS already by April 2018 already there are 13 to be delivered or more as SAS says it will take 15 aircraft from the new batch of 50 for delivery over 2019-2021. It says that these have been "secured through declarations of intent with lessors".The other 35 aircraft will be delivered directly from Airbus, up to 2023.

Currently all SAS all A320NEOS are powered by the CFM International Leap-1A, there has been any other engine selection for the future aircrafts. SAS has also placed options for additional five A320neos as part of the agreement.

as of 2018 SAS operates a total of 164 Aircrafts.
